I’m so busy working on the third volume of Emily Carr’s BC that I haven’t posted a word about this presentation. As requested by the organizers, I’ll be focusing on Emily’s relationship with Indigenous people as illustrated in her first book, Klee Wyck, and I’ll also be talking a bit about the settler experience she recorded in her second book, The Book of Small.
